On September 9th,the Lake Norman High School’s Cross Country team attended Friday Night Lights at Ivey Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville. Lake Norman High School was one out of the twenty-seven teams that competed that night.
For the Varsity boys Evan Harris led the way abd finished in seventeenth place with a time 17:06.93. In sixty-fifth place, Cody McCahill finished with a 18:15.00. Behind Cody in sixty-seventh place finished Nick Cresci with a time of 18:16.32, with Mason Dupler behind him in seventieth place made it with a time of 18:18.53. In eighty-ninth place Jacob Ennis with a time of 18:38.58. With a time of 18:58.02 came Michael Reitmeyer in one-twenty-sixth position. In one-hundred-fifty-second position came Wolfgang Obrecht with a time of 19:17.78. At two hundred came Chase Brosel with a time of 20:10.15. And in two-twenty-sixth was Chris Brooks with a time of 21:24.91. This secured Lake Norman’s position in 11th place out of 27.
Kylee Frady was the highest Lake Norman runner who placed twenty-fourth overall , with a time of 20:44.04. Behind her came MJ Shoemaker in twenty-fifth place with a time of 20:45.90. In seventy-second place came Jessica Wynblatt with a time of 21:50.52. After her came Elly Hecker in seventy-fourth with a time of 21:59.50. In ninety-eighth place came Sydney Cook with a time of 22:30.79. Kaleigh Stolberg came in behind her in one-thirty-sixth place with a time of 23:11.40. Behind her was Allie Wilson in one-forty-fourth place with a time of 23:20.96. Diana Jasany ran in one-fifth place with a time of 23:24.82. In one-eighty-second place came Abigail Siegfried with a time 24:14.16. Behind her in one-ninetieth place came Amanda Weber with a time 24:27.79. This secured Lake Norman’s position in 7th out of 26.
